What you bring to the party

  • Proven experience with building, securing, and managing Kubernetes architectures at scale.
  • Experience setting up and running Kubernetes clusters in AWS (preferably), Google Cloud Platform, Azure or on-prem.
  • Proficiency with logging, tracing, proxy, monitoring, and dashboard tools such as the ELK stack, Fluentd, Istio, Envoy, Jaeger, Grafana, Prometheus.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for packaging and deploying application containers.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and high quality standards.
  • You work independently, structured and enjoy guiding others to get better.
  • You love variety and can quickly adapt and learn new projects.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills and a residence in Germany.

What makes you stand out

  • Experience with configuration management and IaC tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, CDK, Ansible.
  • You fluently speak Golang, Python, or another relevant programming language. 
  • You have contributed to or are an active maintainer of a widely used open source project.
  • You are not afraid to work with legacy applications and can safely migrate them to modern/scalable architectures.
  • Great if you have relevant certifications such as CKA/CKAD/CKS and/or AWS DevOps Engineer — if not, just do them with us!
  • German language skills at least on B2 level (or you are eager to learn it).
